In light of the extreme and continuing, dry weather conditions, the Committee have agreed to issue some temporary special guidance for ralliers on Derbyshire Centre rallies.
1. No charcoal BBQs or similar.
2. Cigarettes to be extinguished inside your unit or directly into water.
3. Gas grills/burners to be used with caution. They must be raised off the ground and you must have a bucket of water prepared to extinguish it, should it get knocked over.
4. Advisory fire buckets for all units.
This guidance will come into force with immediate effect and remain in place until further notice.
