Wednesday 9 July to Sunday 13 July

James Mellor Funfair on the Market Place. Times vary.


Friday 11 July

6.30pm – Car Treasure Hunt, from St Ann’s Well


Saturday 12 July – Carnival Day

10am – stalls and activities, Pavilion Gardens bowling green (opposite the Old Hall Hotel) and by The Pump Room, until 5pm

10.30am – Pet Dog Show, Pavilion Gardens, hosted by High Peak Guide Dogs

12noon – Fun Fair opens, to 10pm

1.45pm – Road Race, starting on Spring Gardens, hosted by Buxton & District Athletics Club

2pm – Buxton Carnival Parade* – don’t forget to bring some pennies to give to the floats!

4pm – Carnival Concert, Turner’s Memorial to 7pm

4.15pm – Parade of Queens, Pavilion Gardens

4.30pm – Duck Race, Pavilion Gardens, hosted by the Rotary Club of Buxton

4.30pm – Carnival Concert, Pavilion Gardens to 7pm

With all all the use of the facilities including Electric, Hard Standing, Toilet & Shower Block and Motorhome Service Point.


Conveniently located for easy access to the best features of the beautiful Peak District, yet nestled peacefully away in the idyllic valley floor, Buxton Club Campsite is the perfect location for those looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of modern life whilst having easy access to modern comforts. The small, pretty town of Buxton is within walking distance of the caravan park, home to the historic Pavilion Gardens set within 23 acres of beautifully rich scenery and an abundance of restaurants and shops. There are towns to explore in all directions, including the market towns of Leek & Ashbourne.

At Buxton Club Campsite you will be surrounded by the superb Peak District National Park - with its extensive network of cycle ways, this is the ideal destination for those keen to see the best of England's rolling landscapes, whether by bike or by foot. Hikers can relish in reaching the summit of Grin Hill where they can witness the Solomon’s Temple and spectacular views of Buxton and High Peak. If you fancy a stroll on a rainy day, a full set of splendid stately homes can be found situated near to the caravan site, all rich with local history.

Please note CAMC cancellation and payment policy applies to this rally and overrides any local policies.


As this is a CAMC site rally, you may see closer to the rally date a booking appear in your CAMC Account under "My Bookings" which may say a pitch fee payable. This is NOT payable as your payment will be covered by the Derbyshire Centre. On arrival to the site please inform reception you are on the Derbyshire Centre Rally and they will direct you to the marshals.


Turn left off A53 (Buxton - Leek) after passing the A537 Macclesfield Road (signposted Grin Low, Harpur Hill). In 270 metres turn left into the site road (signposted Grin Low Country Park). The site entrance is on the left in 0.25 mile. Please follow these recommended directions for the final approach carefully, due to alternative routes being unsuitable for towing. The route from Congleton on A54 is narrow and steep. An electronic barrier system is in operation.
