Bakewell is the biggest town in the Peak District and has an abundance of shops, cafes, pubs and of course the Bakewell Pudding shops.
The River Wye runs through the town and provides lovely riverside walks. For cyclist and walkers, the Monsal Trail can be picked up from just above the Showground.
Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and Chatsworth Farm Shop are a short drive away.
