Since our last blog we have held 3 rallies.  Peak Rail with 20 units,  Lickpenny Club Site Rally with 9 units and the Southport Easter Rally with 40 units.  Along with our own Derbyshire members we have welcomed visitors from Notts, Leicestershire, North Yorkshire, North Staffs, Midlands, Cheshire Centres along with some non-Centre members on these three rallies.    

To help support the funding of the Centre, we ran 50/50 draws and we have raised £144.  Once again, thanks to everyone who has supported our 50/50 draws, it really is making a difference to the Centre’s finances.

Just as a reminder, we will be holding an Open Forum at the Ashover May Day rally.  This will be held at 10am on Saturday 2nd May.  All Derbyshire Centre Members are welcome to attend.  It would be really helpful for the Committee to have questions submitted in advance – this will give us a chance to give a full response and save us the stress of being put on the spot!!  Submit them via the suggestions link on the website:  https://www.derbyshirecentre.co.uk/suggestions

We will want to have a chat about plaques – we are trialling a new supplier over the next few rallies. We need to make sure we are offering what members want, but keeping costs and wastage to a minimum.   We also may have some HQ updates from the Question Time and Club Council meetings to feed back to you.
