Peak Rail Rally 15-17 March 2024
We had 30 units in attendance at this rally. Mostly Derbyshire Centre members, but we welcomed visitors from Nottinghamshire, Mid West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire and non-centre members.
Peak Rail really is a great winter rallying site. It has hard standing and is close to various pubs, restaurants and shops. Bus stops are near-by and there are walks from the site.
Unfortunately the weather was mixed, but we had a lovely spell during the daytime on Saturday where it was dry and warm. There was plenty of train activity to watch!
Several of the ralliers took the opportunity to visit the Shalimar Indian restaurant which is a very short walk away from the site.
I delivered flag on Sunday morning where the children were given an Easter Egg from the Centre.
