What a fantastic weekend we had! With glorious weather blessing us from start to finish, it was the perfect setting for a rally full of laughter, sunshine, and great company.
We welcomed 22 units with no non-arrivals, which is always a great start. Among us were visitors from the Notts and Midlands Centres, and we were especially pleased to welcome a couple experiencing their very first rally—what a brilliant one to start with!

Friday evening set the tone for the weekend with a relaxed social in the event shelter. A few drinks, plenty of laughter, and the usual good-natured catching up got us all into the rally spirit.
Saturday saw many ralliers out and about enjoying the beautiful surroundings of Carsington Water. Whether walking or cycling, everyone made the most of the sunshine and the views. A good number of us couldn’t resist the call of the Knockerdown Inn either—ideal weather for a cold drink in the beer garden!

The fun didn’t stop when the sun went down. Saturday evening brought everyone back together at the event shelter for an evening of games and entertainment. Zara hosted a lively quiz, followed by a card game from Sherry that got everyone involved. And just when we thought it couldn’t get any more entertaining… enter Glyn and myself.

In a moment no one will forget anytime soon, we transformed ourselves into dancing chickens for a hilarious round of “Name That Tune.” If you weren’t there, you definitely missed a sight to behold. Whether we’ll ever live it down is another matter entirely!
It was one of those rallies that reminded us exactly why we do this—sunshine, good company, and memories made.
